Here it is! The long-awaited second installment of our Rankin/Bass trilogy , SilverHawks! This 1986 series (one season, 65 episodes, of course) was quite the delight, but only in the most ironic of ways. Guys, if you’ve always wanted to see rainbows in the night, then this is the show for you!

If you want to see the SilverHawks (and their superior co-stars, the “weapon-birds”) in action, you can pick up the complete series on DVD, split into Volume 1 and Volume 2.  If you planned to buy SilverHawks anyway, please consider making your purchase through our referral link since it helps to fund the podcast.

Our SilverHawks episode follows below; be careful, because it gets partly metal before it gets partly real*:

*I humbly apologize for my sniffles, coughs, and general malaise during this podcast as I was under the weather. I did my best to mute my grossness for the hour, but I’m sure I missed a few. Sorry folks!
