Jawsome? More like dead in the water! (Zing!) On this week’s episode of the Saturday Mourning Cartoons podcast, we take on the mid-90s DiC Entertainment series Street Sharks. DiC was really chumming the waters with this show, which (of course) pushed to sell a series of Mattel toys. You’ll have to listen to see whether or not we were sold on it.
If you’re a fan of Street Sharks, you can pick up the complete 40-episode series on DVD. And if you’re a fan of us, please consider making that purchase through our referral link, since it helps to fund the podcast. Thanks in advance! Now let’s rip up the streets with our Street Sharks discussion below:
Oh, and did I mention that we’re on iTunes? You can subscribe through this link right here, or open up iTunes, head to the store, go to the podcast section and search for Saturday Mourning Cartoons. Be sure to send us a message when you subscribe, and we’ll give you a shoutout on our next episode!
Speaking of shoutouts, we’re super happy to have received our first bit of fan mail! Thanks to Jason from Wisconsin, who not only suggested some crazy sounding shows (Chuck Norris: Karate Kommandos, anyone?), but shared his excellent blog that features zany retro foods. Check out Gone But Not Forgotten Groceries here! Thanks for listening, Jason!
